Turn signal problem

... one lesson learned long ago ... if you change something and find
numerous instances of aberrent behavior ... start by checking the thing you
just swapped ...
... are you sure the switches you installed are the correct parts for your
car? Are you sure that you connected everything the way it was originally?
... I suppose the next question would be ... what problems were you
attempting to solve by replacing the column switches?
