Koni and Eibach Q's

  I'm in the process of going through the suspension on my 85 ur-q. It has
Eibachs on it and Koni Yellows. It seems as though they both have quite a few
miles on them. (The springs and struts.) I see no leakage from the struts and
I wonder if they are OK. Any way to check them?
  Also, do the Eibach springs wear out? It appears as though the top 3 coils
have made contact with each other more than a few times.
 Recommendations?
