Weird quattro rear calipers longish

I always keep an eye on your posts, as I have the same car... a euro 85 CQ
(non turbo)...
I'll have to get some pics of it for in the audifans registry...

I have also had a bit of a play with my rear brakes. I had to completely
strip one of them,  and rebuild the little pin which drives the e-brake...
anyway... I didn't measure the piston, but mine definitely had what was once
a hex shape in the front...
on the left hand side it was corroded and I had some real trouble turning
it...

however it was definitely a hex key and not a slot... so my guess is that
yours has been changed...

sorry no hard data, just a guess...
reminds me, I'll have to replace my calipers and discs some time soon...
