[Sorta OT] Importing a car from US to Germany

I dont know what is necessary for Germany, but I can give you a few ideas
about how it is done in Norway. Germany may be similar, or may be totally
different. For one person to bring a car into norway tax-free when moving, the
person must have been living outside of Norway for at least 5 years, and the
car he/she brings must have been his for minimum 365 days. After arrival in
Norway the car can not be sold before two years after first Norwegian
registration date. If the car must be sold before that, import taxes must be
paid.
