90Q Front Swaybar

Well I checked the EKTA today and it showed the swaybar mounting to the
strut housing on the '90-91 Coupes and '93-on 80/90's. Plus, I looked under
a '90 90Q 20v today and the swaybar mounted to the control arms like my
4000q and also like the early '90 Coupe I looked at yesterday!?
My understanding is that mounting the swaybar to the strut housing is more
effective than to the control arm, i.e., more roll stiffness. I recently
converted the front suspension on my 4000 to '90Q 20V, which must be from a
Coupe, since it has the hole for the swaybar mount on the strut housing.
(not sure since it was sitting loose at the junkyard)
But I did not get the swaybar and I'm trying to locate one.
Any comments on whether mounting the swaybar end links to the strut housing
is more effective than to the control arm?
I have a custom rear bar mounted to the strut housings and it is indeed very
stiff.
Thanks,
