4KQ Exhaust downpipe flange to catalytic converter

Hello all,

I was under the 'ol girl yesterday to fix a slight exhaust leak somewhere around the cat and replace some suspect hardware.  The plan was to remove the cat and re-assemble with all new hardware.  I got the cat out without much problem and noticed that there was a metal band around the flange of the downpipe that connects to the cat.  It turns out that the band is a big hose clamp that apparently was holding the flange together.  It is in two pieces (actually three because one broke) or "slices" would be a better description.  The flange is pretty rough but I suppose as long as everything is lined up properly, it could be re-used.  Who else out there has BTDT with this operation?  Suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated as usual.
