V8 in a 100?

Actually, I did a lot of research into doing this sort of thing.  In my
case, I was interested in dropping a V8 into a 200CS.

It is quite involved, as it turns out, for either car.  The engine
management systems and electronics are quite different.  It is possible to
drop in the V8, if the transmission can be included, and the resultant
driveshaft, motor mount, exhaust routing and myriad other stuff can be
altered.  I am not really sure abou t the 100, but the 200 was going to have
some trouble accepting the V8 due to the over size of the engine....I
thought it would fit, but it would be difficult.  Also problems exist with
the placement of cooling, air conditioning equipment and so on.

My mechanic said that anything is possible....or rather, ANYthing is
po$$ible.....
