driving fast (what's the fastest you've gone in a car)

I haven't gone the fastest on this list-by far.  But I do have good proof of
my speed.  Driving back from the Monterey Historics '99 to Denver in my
Tornado Red '84 urquattro I was stopped by one of Nevada's Finest for doing
129.  The cop was cool about it.  I have the ticket, yet to frame it.  He
indicated my speed of 129, but only wrote me up for 110.  Nice guy.  Small
fine by check in the mail.  No points.  All this just because my friend in
an A4 had gone faster than me.  Now I have the record back-with proof.
