You mentioned you "cleaned up" the engine compartment. Did you power wash
it? My 5k's don't like to get wet and usually require an overnight rest to
start again. Let it dry out and try it again
I know this sounds over simple, but sometimes simple is overlooked. I know
of several slushbox owners that did radio repair/installation only to have a
no-start condition afterward. The problem gets solved by putting the
selector back into "park" instaed of "drive" where they put it to have radio
clearance.
