Hi Chris. I have BTDT. There are 2 rubber grommets between the reservoir and
the master cylinder itself. The reservoir simply (well, ok you have to put
some effort in) pops off by pulling up on it while wiggling it. On my 5KTQ
the grommets came out quite easily. The most difficult part of the
operation was getting the new grommets in because they are understandably a
tight fit. Basically get one side in and then push on the other side of the
grommet with a screwdriver or the like.
New grommets are available at the dealers, as I priced them out once.
Promptly slapped myself and went to the wrecking yard and got some in
relatively good shape.
