STAY AWAY FROM GAS TANKS WITH SCREWDRIVERS!
Buy yourself a bronze drift tool (like a punch, but made out of bronze). Steel
on steel will cause sparks, and I'm sure we all know that sparks and gas fumes
don't play well together. Bronze against steel will not spark, thereby safely
loosening the lock ring.
