adjusting hood release cable + 1.8 bar fist time

Hi listers.
All of sudden (after I removed and put back the lever inside) hood
refused to be released.  I found that right latch does not move enough.
When the right latch come to stop right one start to move, right? Is is
how it works?   When I tried to shorten cable moving bolt&nut stop under

the hood (at the end of cable) then left side latch moves to open
position and never lock  the hood.  I did not get how to adjust it.  I
will appreciate if someone explain it to me.

P.S. 1.5 years ago when I started to work on my first Audi I decided  to

solve all issues and renew all necessary part before I run mods.  Then I

bought second car and it made it longer.  Yesterday I ran 1.8 bar boost
first time, on a car with ported head, rebuilt K-26, 1.8 SJM spring and
QLCC chip.  Now I uderstand what people on this list are talking
about!   Tomorrow I should get inspection which expired while I worked
on the car and I will get better feel but even after short drive I feel
like I did not waste time.  Thanks to the list again. I would be not
possible withot your help.
