Engine flushing opinions

ive used the oil additive made by lubro moly several times. its an "add with
oil/filter change, drive 200 miles, change oil/filter again" type thing. i
forget its actual name bc the can's all german. oh wait.... "ventil sauber"
i think its called. it just came to me.

my local mechanic recc's it highly, and i tend to trust lubro's products as
being relatively smoke n mirror free.

i will say it seems to run a bit smoother and lifters seem quieter after
such treatments, but we all know how subjective perception is =)

its cheap, and makes me feel like im doing good things to my audi. besides,
isnt the placebo effect "real"? ;)
