Since you live in Denver, perhaps you've listened to Tom Martino (a
nationally syndicated consumer advocate radio show host who got his start
here in Denver). He more or less swears off extended warranties, because of
all the times he's heard about these warranty companies denying warranty
work because of claims of abuse or neglect.
