Shine Racing Services... I'm pumped!

In a fairly long quest to find someone with actual experience, if not some
actual numbers to back up claims in porting & polishing Audi 5 cylinder
20valve heads, I found spoke with Shine by phone some time ago.  They
usually have an advertisement in Grassroots Motorsports as well as Autoweek
on occasion and some of the other VW specialty tuning publications.  The

If you ever have the occasion to inquire or otherwise gather some facts
about their porting & polishing services, especially any their experiences
with the Audi vs. VW 4 valve per cylinder heads etc., I'd be interested in
hearing the opinions &/or facts or claims vis-à-vis such services.  So far
in my personal experience, I've found lots of opinions about the 'benefits'
and gains to be had from P&P various configurations, but unfortunately very
little hard fact, data, documentation  or comparative information to lend
support to all the claims.
