Hose help/timing belt

Hi all,

did the cambelt on my new to me 1990 9020Vq today, lovely job not!!! Good
job i did as the belt that came off was cracked all over the place, car has
only done 70K miles so i suspect it's never been done.

Anyway whilst bleeding the coolant system (pump done too)i removed the bleed
screw on one of the hoses that goes to the heater, the whole thing came out
of the hose with a nut on the thread part, tried to press it back in the
hose but the damn thing went twang and has ended up somewhere in the engine
bay. Does anyone know if i can the screw or do i need a new hose.
