Hi guys,

So far, so good for Audi! Lots of flat tyres notwithstanding, Audi still
leads 1-2-3. I cannot figure out what happened to the Japanese privateer in
the Audi, who was doing very well last night. Bentley is in fourth.

My fellow countrymen have had a mixed night: Jan Lammers' Racing For
Holland is 7th overall, very impressive! The Spijker was doing so well
until the engine ingested a Kevlar intake tract (Victor Mueller, MD of
Spijker: "a Tupperware party in the engine", bent a coupla valves and was
out. Oh well, that's what you get for using a BMW engine instead of the
Audi V8 that's in the road car...
Mike Hezemans, driving a private Viper GTS, got lots of engine and gearbox
troubles and had to retire early, too.

Oh boy, wish I could've been there for the inevitable Audi victory party...

Tom
