sort of. I re-uesd the hose and fittings from a previous install of the oil
cooler when I used to have it mounted where the intercooler now sits.

you could do that... but you'd need a 37 degree flare tool to do that. The
adapter fittings I bought from 2Bennet but I later found other sources for it
(like http://www.amstreetrod.com carries them I believe). If you can use the
stock metal portion of the line to avoid the adapter fittings I see no
problem with that as long as you make propper connections to the AN hose.
You'll likely be looking at -8 AN (which is plenty big) for tube nuts to
connect to those lines rather than -10 (measure first of course.. just a
rough guess).
