that will be awful... your headlight will mask your turn signal when
they are on.

a fender mounted repeater is a nice way to go:

bottom picture shows TT side markers, they were cheap, get the harness
for them too - it comes with a really long pair of wires.

bottom picture shows them lit up.  I have them wired as "markerflash"
lights so they are always on wiht theheadlights, flash to signal either
way.
