Check the "child safety switch" for the power windows. On 5000s, it is a
little pushbutton in the window console cluster that disables the rear
window switches so the munchkins can't roll the windows down and bail out
when daddy starts to drive too fast.
The switch comes apart internally, and even though it moves up and down
properly, clicking with proper Germanic authority, there's nobody home
inside, and the rear windows won't work.
I have no munchkins, so I've jumpered the two wires.
