A few more hard-starting possibilities: failed coolant temperature sensor,
thermo-time switch or clogged cold-start injector. The easiest to test and
repair is the coolant temp sensor, which should measure 2.5K ohms between
the prongs at ~60F. I tested resistance once on a cold engine at 35F (in
case you're still stuck in a winter climate like me) and got something like
5.5K ohms. I'm pretty sure that's as it should be.
