I am replacing the brakes on my '85 4kq. I was able to do the rears with n=
o problems, but when I try to do the fronts, I cant get the rotor off the h=
ub. The rear ones just fall off once the caliper housing is removed, but t=
he fronts stay put. I'm guessing that they are just rusted to the hub and =
nothing else needs to be removed, but I'm not sure. I don't want to hit th=
em much harder with a hammer until I'm sure there's nothing else holding th=
em on. I don't have to take the axle nut off do I?
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or give me a hint on how to break =
the rust (if that is the problem)
