Heat issue....:(

Heater valve appears to be working. Opens with heat on, closes with heat
off. Programmer/bowden cable are moving from hot to cold. Still no heat.
Let it be known, that the a/c doesn't/won't work...bad compressor. What
should the temp gauge read during normal driving? Mine reads a little over
1/4 most of the time. Thermostat? You'd think I would still have heat,
though...
