yep, i did this too, snagged the nice vinyl headliner out of a 84 5000s with
a sunroof. you have to open the sunroof and peel the headliner off from
outside the sunroof where it is glued around the sunroof opening lip.  i
folded all the seats down and took the rear headrests off and was able to
fernagle <---yes, FERNAGLE the whole headliner out thru the RF door.
