I haven't followed the rest of this thread so I'm not up on the trouble
shooting you have already done(and my mail browser is being pissy so I
can't go back and review right now) but.... have you tried sticking a
regular relay in place of the fuel pump relay? It could be that either a)
there is no tach signal getting to the FPR, and it doesn't 'know' the
engine is running and shuts the pump off, or b) the signal is getting to
the FPR, but the FPR is borked and isn't continuing to run the pump after
you release the key from 'start'. So a quick and dirty elimination of the
fpr is to stick a regular plain-jane automotive relay in, turn the key to
'On'(or start of course) and the fuel pump should be whirring away all the
time. And the car should run, and if the relay is yellow then get in, sit
down, shut up, and hold on, cause that car's gor another gaaarraaunteed
42hp at the wheels ;)
HTH!?
