Here's one I've never seen before! This Audi suddenly began
to blow HOT air whenever A/C is turned on & compressor is
engaged. The colder the control setting - the hotter the
air temperature. Now check this out - I find the condenser
actually gets COLD when the compressor is engaged and I'm
assuming the evaporator is getting hot, very hot at the
same time because the duct temps will reach 180 deg. If we
defeat the compressor the duct temps fall to close to
ambient temp. It seems like the system is running
BACKWARDS! Is this possible? Now I really like Audis - I
even own one, but they have of late really tried my
professional patience. Have any of you guys ever heard of
this before or can you come up with a theory? Thanks.

compressor operation - seems normal/quiet
RELATED REPAIR HISTORY
had 10 ounces R134 added to system approx 3 weeks ago
because a/c temp was only 55 deg.
