Tach Signal for 20v engine in type 85

I can't answer your question for the moment because my 3B coupe quattro
doesn't have the tach hooked up yet, but I'd like to hook the Motronic
signal to the normal entry point if I could find it... could you tell me
where you hooked it up? Or did you use the existent ignition coil wiring
harness?
