Header is finished!

Hi Mike:
Interesting project. Being new to Turbo, I'm interested in the 'science'
involved in exhaust manifolds. Is there any necessity to design the
length of the pipe to increase the efficiency of scavenging the
cylinders? Should the length of pipe between head and the collector be
some multiple of a magic number depending on the displacement and RPM at
the desired peak power?
Inquiring minds need to know :-)
Cheers
George
