Xenon *is* a halogen.

They put out more light per watt, but it's a little more blue - I
would think that this would affect scatter, glare, bounceback etc,
especially if you ever drive in the snow or fog... comments?
Also, the bulbs last longer than filament bulbs, but not nearly long
enough to justify the price differences I've seen. Does the amount
you'll save in gas by needing to run your alternator less make up for
this? Not that I have any objection to saving gas on moral grounds;
just asking...
