I think the sensor which controls the CSV is shown here...

It's the single wire sensor on the left labelled ECU Temp Sensor.
This is Scott Mockry's famous web site. He also describes how to test the
sensor, etc
It looks just like the sensor labelled ISV Temp Sensor ... I think they
are identical.
