Cannot remove O2 sensor

I agree, it shouldn't be that tough for a mechanic...using heat and an impact wrench will take that right out. If you're going to be working on these cars often, I'd definitely consider getting an electric impact wrench and socket set if you don't have compressed air. IME, for removing nuts/bolt/etc., they tend to actually cause less damage than doing it w/ a wrench. They're pretty cheap from Harbor Freight I believe. good luck.

I'd find a mechanic with a _real_ torch and explain
the situation to him.  It shouldn't cost too much to have
him/her heat the sucker and break it loose.  Then
you'll take it from there.
