Stephane
If it was my low pressure sender, I would agree with you. I had an oil
pump go on my 200q; gauge refused to go up. I shut it down after a few
seconds. Tried a second time, same result, had it towed. My mech said
oil pumps virtually never fail, kind of a fluke, but glad the car had an
oil pressure gauge. But if I drive the Cab and don't go above 2100 rpm,
no light. I am getting pressure, but if it is a mechanical problem, I am
not getting "enough" pressure over 2200 rpm(what, 3-4 bar??)So I do have
oil pressure, I don't think it is dangerous to drive it gently to get
it to the mechanic. And no offense ever taken from someone who is
trying to help!!!
