pre '80 5k control arm vs. 5k/100/200 '90?

So, can the pre 80 unit be used on my 1990 200q?  The inner bushing 
looks different, but that can be changed over easily.  I'm asking 
because I can get them for a little less than the "proper" models 
around here.
