Seems like a funny order to buy the car in... but then again, I usually
have parts I need lying around by the time I get another car. The
killer was (NAC) the upper radiator hose in the attic that fit my F250...

Shocks don't determine height, springs do. However, I believe that
struts/shocks made for a given height spring will be designed to operate
around an appropriate "rest" position. Also, of course, spring rates
and shock damping factors are designed to go with each other. Or should
