My 95' 90Q seems to be locking itself

I know for a fact, that if the "lock" wire has been "compromised" and is
grounding out against another wire, the car will indeed lock itself. There are
at least three wires that go to the trunk lock. Lock, unlock, and ground.
Anytime you ground either the lock or unlock wire, the appropriate action will
occur. I used that to my advantage when wiring in an aftermarket remote keyless
entry system. I didn't even cut any wires. There's a three wire plug underneath
the driver's side tail light for the truck lock. I just bought the same style
plugs from Audi and used the plugs to splice in the keyless entry system, no
cutting wires. As a matter of fact, if I wish to, I could remove the system and
no one would even know it had been in there.
