I presume you are referring to the oil filter? And yes, It's an equal
opportunity Audi. The correct Mann filter is, and always has been on there
since I've had it. :)

Judging from others, the lifter tick as you slow from a hard run is
normal, even with 15w50 synthetic.

I dunno what our friend Rob is encountering, other than typically what
happens anytime someone else is looking at your car. It falls apart in the
most unsuspecting ways, only to repair itself when your dignity returns
and you are ready to look into the problem...
