Probably the single most sensible reply I've seen
on this subject in quite awhile. Well Done, Scott!

(also why I ran in SCCA Solo stock for 14 yrs,
including acting as a Regional Exec for 2 until
I had to move for a job. The best thing about SCCA,
consistancy and rules to follow, which allowed
me to gauge my progress as a driver, rather
than the progress of technology. Time and
unfortunate non-driving damage with a lack
of funding (always a racing issue) finally put an
end to it. But, I may be getting the bug again!)
