Haydn Taylor Hi Carlos Thanks for the reply. Youre absolutely right about the
buy not build thing, I have built a load of cars and always lost money,
however youre also right about the blood and grease, the building is a major
part for me. My intention is to do this as cheaply as possible as it's just a
toy car and not a full blown race machine. I just have a need to get sliding
about legally instead of doing it on quite NH back roads. Eventually I intend
to take all the mechanics from this vehicle, once its dialed in and I am done
with beating on it, and transfer the mechanics into a super 7 style vehicle
for Autocrossing. So the 5KTQ is really the test bed for seeing if the
driveline is up to the abuse (which I already know it is, especially with a
lot of weight removed. I am trying to aquire the relevant rule books and codes
as suggested and will keep posting on my progress as time goes by. Thanks
again and good luck with youre CGT. Haydn >From: "passat TS" >To:

Scott. Just a thought. Could you get by at ITB with a NG engine instead of >a
