GuideOne has some good deals for folk who don't drink or smoke and do not
allow folk who do drink or smoke to drive their vehicles (no social
commentary!)

I have two vehicles, an `87 Nissan and a `77 VW Transporter. I'm 46 yo, a
widower with a non-driving child, and a clean driving record. I've got
liability and uninsured motorist (or whatever that stuff is now) on both
vehicles. My insurance runs about $900.00 per year. When I sell the Nissan
my rate will drop down to around $500.00 per year.

BTW, the blanks for the dummy fog lamps are nearly completed. My recovery
from a slight case of chlorine gas poisoning is progressing rather nicely,
and I'm close to catching casting jobs up from February. I should be able
to work on the masters starting Monday. I'm regret the delay, and should
have the dummies ready for shipping by mid-April.

They'll sell as a pair, left and right, for $100.00 (If shipped USPS
Priority Mail or by UPS Ground, no shipping charge). Orders will be filled
on a first come, first served basis, payment via USPS (US Postal) Money
Order.

Pro-orders are accepted, but please be aware that shipping will not commence
until mid-April. Qualified dealers may inquire about wholesale and/or OEM
pricing. (Note: we do not do large-scale productions. Bulk orders are
expected to be in the 5 to 10 set range.)

I'll be giving Trevor a set for his donation of the original dummies,
donating a set to Brett and/or Dan to look over (my thanks for hosting
list), and a 20% discount to Steve and to the other fellow for sending me
pictures of the bumper mounting points. Thanks!

I'll post details of the "field testing" near the beginning of April.
"Field Testing": Firing a reconditioned Crossman M1 Carbine BB rifle at a
lens, at gradually reduced ranges, until the lens develops catastrophic
damage. (Hey, it's cheap, and it works. [grin])
