1994 Audi 90 CS transmissions

Passing this along for a friend:

I recently bought a replacement transmission for my audi. The transmission I bought was from a 95 audi 90. All of the mounting bolts are the same but there is an extra electical connector on the top of the transmission. A transmission guy said that it was a turbine sensor and that it would not be problem using this transmission in my car. The 94 transmission has the code CFS on the bell housing and the 95 has the code CLR. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Help me!--Pat
