Need more information. The job will cost about a thousand dollars, and I'd
want it done by someone who had done a few, and who would warranty his work
100% for at least 90 days. The Bosh option sounds like it might meet those
criterea.
I just had a clutch replaced in my 87 5ktq. It cost a grand, took 2 days,
and the replacement failed in 3 days use. The mechanic DRIVES a car just
like mine. He understands Audis and works on them all the time. He had
replaced my clutch once already, about 5 years ago. He knew how and did it
right. But the parts failed....
He called his supplier, filed a claim, got it approved, put in another
clutch set free, and everybody lived.
I'll see him again for my next Audi problem.
Work with someone like that.
