Going Back east, LAC..advice wanted.

Sounds familiar.. except my move wasn't so far (NH to CT).  You will
probably save money by hauling it yourself and there is always the peace
of mind of knowing how everything is handled....

Another option might be to pay someone you know and trust that could
spare a weekend (and probably a bit more!) and get them to drive one of
your cars out for you.  Figure a plane ticket and some $$ for the
trouble would still be way less than the commercial shipping option.

Not much to be found around here... Lots of IT folks out of work.
There's always the independent consultant route that has worked well for
me....
