ABS in USA urq?

Hi,

Has anyone looked into adding ABS to their urq?  I have been thinking about
this for a few years and have acquired some parts to start moving toward
implementation.

I have the four struts w/ bolt on hub assemblies from a '90 coupe quattro,
4 ABS sensors, the entire ABS wiring harness and ABS computer from a 5ktq
among other misc. parts.

If I could figure out which wheel bearings to use, can the urq hubs be used
with the cq hub knuckle?

I know I would need to use front ball joints from a 20v 90 sedan and the
front control arms from a 4kq up front.  The rear CQ ball joint looks like
it will work with the stock urq rear control arms and possibly the stock
urq tie rods.  Or I might have to change over the rear to a 4kq setup.

As you can see, there are a lot of details to figure out.  I searched the
archives for similar discussions and did not find much.  Maybe this e-mail
can be the start of a long informational thread?
