Seeking Tips/Assistance R+R'ing Combo Switch, '89 200Q with Trip Computer

I have the correct Torx for the wheel. Usually I disconnect the
battery to pull the wheel. I guess if I bring the switch assy
inside, I can drill out the rivets there, so I don't need the
cordless. Sounds like I'll unlikely complete this before the
storm arrives (tomorrow). Bummer.

LL - NY wishing my wiper woes were the motor, not the switch....
