Use the little slide show at the top of the inst.
cluster as your guide.

1)  do you get an OK when you start the car?

2)  is this taking place when you hit the brakes?  Can
you check if all your brake lights are good?

3)  head lights ok?

4)  All fluids up to snuff?

IIRC there is a procedure to test this in the Bentley
shop manual.  IT will sequence through all the alarms
that the system can handle.
