I think that should read "80-83 coupes and fwd 5 speed 4ks *with 5-cyl
engines*".

Yes, on the 4-cyl cars, the 81-83 type 013 2M tranny is also ultra
wide ratio "economy" boxes.  Great for gas mileage, but absolutely
no acceleration in top gear.
