Silicon grease

I wouldn't use silicone grease, but silicone spray. Any good electrical
supply house, FLAPS or Home Depot style store should stock it. Wet down
all the inner door seals, the lower door rubber trim and upper rubber
trim with the stuff. It'll get absorbed into the rubber. I did all my
Audi's yesterday when it was a balmy 30 degrees, and all doors opened
without problems in the -10 degree cold this morning.
Hit the rubber trunk (tailgate if avant) rubber seal too.
Next time you're under the car spray the CV joint boots, lower shifter
boot and other rubber bits, keeps them flexible and extends their service
life.
