wiper arm stop position problem (follow up)

indeed my problem was in the motor/drive.  because it was riveted together i
picked up a motor/drive
at the bone yard and switched out the old unit.  didn't want to start taking
it apart and investing time in
the old one if the drive was not the problem.

Parking position is switched by a sliding contact that lives on top of
the large plastic gear that turns the main shaft. To get to it, you have
to get the plate of, which is sometime riveted, but mostly screwed on.
The position of this contact determines where the parking position is.
At the moment you have pure racing viper, that is aerodynamically
superior to normal parking position one. Hmmm, re pack with new grease
when you in there.

Art from Salibury Motor Cars in NY told me the "park" in the motor moves or
goes bad.
Here's the used part ~$30 fix:  EIther take the WHOLE assembly from NON
MATCHING: 5000/100/200 or take just the motor from an EXACT copy of the type
one
you have.
