AoA Warranty plea WAS: Attn: Igor Kessel

The suspension was completely original. The control arms on the right side were worn to the point of being dangerous, the left were not as bad, but I had them replaced anyway. I just checked the records and that repair was actually $2400, a little lower than I remembered yesterday. That was for outer tie rods, links, control arms, shocks and bushings. But, $8300 in 3 years of ownership on a 5 year old car that I paid $25k for? That's a lot. I love the car, but it's easily been the most expensive to maintain that I have ever owned, and that includes a 911.

Not to mention that Len Hunt is no longer associated with Audi...

I read his ~90K post with a similar thought about it being 100K but FAR too
harsh IMHO to "snap" like that. Obviously, a new poster and maybe he's had
warranty work done before, or the suspension's maybe NOT all original?

				  I was wondering if
I could have the contact info for Mr. Len Hunt at AoA. I called AoA and
they were reluctant to help me.

That might be because he's the VP of Audi North America.

I'm hoping that a plea to Mr. Hunt may
				be of some use.

Len Hunt's assistant didn't write Igor out of the goodness of AoA's
heart- they did it because Igor put up a considerable fuss on the
internet about the failed unit, which died right after his warranty
			ended.

What exactly entitles you to free repair on a car that has almost a
hundred thousand miles on it? Nobody will even give you the time of
day, much less a call from the second most senior official at Audi
North America. Your expectations are just slightly unreasonable.
