'86 muffler fix?

Matter of definition I'd say, the 10v turbo quattro cars are a cat-back
"section" from the factory, but if you purchase a rear muffler for one,
they'll give you a muffler and a sleeve clamp to attach it. If you look
closely on the OEM piping, there's a dimple in front of the (old)rear
muffler where they would have you cut it. Hacksaw job, or maybe a quick 20$
at the local garage?
